Advent at FPC
Join us throughout Advent and enjoy a mix of the traditional and the new, as we continue to join with heaven and nature to proclaim the birth of our Savior.
An Advent Prayer – Shout for joy – the whole earth and everything within Rejoice – for Light has come into the world. The mountains sing, the seas resound to the praise of Your name. Salvation, once promised, is here on earth. The angels' song rings in the air. A child has been born! Hallelujah! The Savior of the world is here!

Join us on at 6 p.m. when we will enjoy a pot luck dinner and share our Christmas memories as we pack away the Christmas decorations.
Picture yourself here at FPC during Christmas in the Square!
*Christmas in the Square
Enjoy the festivities downtown on the Square. The events start at 5 p.m. with the parade at 6 p.m. (look for the FPC float). Activities are all over the downtown area. Our church will serve as a warming station as well as a place for children to write letters to Santa Claus. There will also be a place to get a picture of yourself with angel wings.
We are looking for a few angels for the Christmas in the Square parade. Must be willing to ride in a truck bed and look angelic! See Melanie for details.
**White Gift Collection
We will be collecting canned goods for presentation by the youth in the Family Service at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Our hope is that every child will be able to present a white gift at the early Christmas service. By providing white gifts in advance, they will be available for those who may have forgotten or for any child visiting who may be new to our tradition. Canned goods can be dropped off in Fellowship Hall throughout the month of December.
