The Church Life Committee would like to invite ALL to enjoy the outdoors.
All-Church Picnic and Swim on Saturday, July 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Warren Olympic Club. A pavilion has been reserved, so plan to join us for volleyball, tennis, swimming and good food. The cost is $5 per person, and reservations need to be made no later than July 8. Use the sign-up sheet on the Church Life bulletin board. Please bring a dessert or salad to share.
Play Ball – Sunday, August 3. Game time 6:05 p.m. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will take on the State College Spikes (Pittsburgh Pirates) on a night that will be designated Indians Mania. Cleveland Indians great Joe Charboneau and kids’ favorite mascot Slider will be on hand along with post game fireworks. We have reserved 30 box seat tickets with a free hotdog, pop and chips, $1 off coupon to use anywhere you want in the ballpark and a chance to win free Scrapper garb for everyone who attends with our group. If you were to buy these tickets individually you would pay $14 each. We will be selling tickets for $7 each (that’s a 50% savings)!! Tickets will surely go fast, so make sure you sign up on the Church Life bulletin board in the hallway near Fellowship Hall. Tickets will be available to purchase on Sunday, July 20 for those who have signed up. After that you can contact Carol in the Church Office or Chuck Chalker.
Canoeing at Scenic Mohican State Park - Pack a picnic lunch (including drinks), an outdoor game or activity and enjoy the outdoors. More information is coming soon.
